An East Texas man with ties to San Augustine, Tenaha and Nacogdoches has been added to the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to the capture of 39-year old Eric Lapaul Mosby has a violent criminal past and is wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration, tampering with a governmental record and probation violation. Mosby has previously worked in the poultry industry, and his criminal history includes sexual assault of a child, failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements and aggravated assault. Mosby was convicted in the 1997 for the sexual assault of a 14-year old girl, and since 2007, has been arrested multiple times for failure register as a sex offender. He has multiple tattoos, including a bone on his neck, a tiger on his right shoulder and a woman on his left shoulder. He also has a notice scar near his left eye.
