The Paxton Water System has issued a boil water notice for customers in the Jackson/Joaquin area that were out of water Friday, March 21.

To endsure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use until further notice.
