The Shelby County Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8904 and Ladies Auxiliary will have an observance at 10 a.m. Monday morning at the Veterans Memorial on the grounds of the Historic Shelby County Courthouse to mark the 15^th anniversary Operation Allied Forces to halt humanitarian devastation that was unfolding in Kosovo. Two American Army helicopter pilots died on May 5, 1999 when they crashed serving their country. The public is cordially invited to attend Monday’s observance.
