Texas Tobacco-Free Kids Day is Wednesday, and Center ISD Director of Programs, Angela Lawson is encouraging everyone in the Center ISD and the surrounding areas to play educational lessons and activities associated with the day's events. March 19 will mark an annual day of awareness that encourages people of all ages to live tobacco-free lifestyles. The Texas Department of State Health Services and the Texas School Safety Center at Texas State University's goal is to get every school in Texas involved in the effort to influence people in the schools and communities to make healthy choices by not using tobacco products today and in the future.
