Meanwhile, the Garrison Lady Bulldogs get their second shutout win in as many days with a 10-0 decision over Crockett. Garrison is 5-0 in district, and go to Palestine Westwood March 21.

The Center Lady Riders will try to bounce into the win column when they play at Hudson today, starting with JV at 4:30.

Joaquin’s Chloe Brown will participate in the State Power Lifting Meet tomorrow in Corpus Christi. Brown won Region III Meet in White Oak a couple of weeks ago, setting a meet record in her 105-pound division as she dead-lifted 300 pounds; bench pressed 115 pounds and squatted 260 pounds. She’s currently ranked 2nd in the state. In addition, Joaquin’s Adam Mason will be an alternate at the State Power Lifting Meet, after placing 3rd in the 220 pound class.
