Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 19-year old Jordan LeBlanc of TimpsonVisitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at Watson & Sons. Service will be at 11 Friday at Center First United Pentecostal Church, with interment at Borders Cemetery in Shelby County. Jordan LeBlance is survived by his parents, John and Sherry LeBlanc of Center; fiance’, Ashley Clifton of Timpson; a brother, Joseph LeBlanc of Timpson; a sister, Jasie LeBlanc of Center; paternal grandparents, Maison and Edith LeBlanc of Center; and maternal grandparents, Wayne and Floye Parker of Center. An account has been opened at Austin Bank in Timpson to assist the family with funeral expenses.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces funeral service for 70-year old Loretta Childress of Joaquin. She passed away Tuesday at her residence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 Friday evening at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 11 Saturday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Among Loretta Childress’ survivors are her husband of 51 years, Charles Childress of Joaquin, a son, Todd Childress of Logansport; and brother, Thomas Childress.

 

McNutt Funeral Home of Conroe announces a memorial service for 56-yearold Angela Clark Corbell McCaa of Conroe, formerly of Center. Memorial Service will be at 11 Saturday in her childhood home located at 5069 FM 414 in the Campti Community of Shelby County. Among Angela Clark Corbell McCaa’s survivors are her husband, Jerry McCaa of Florida; a son, Will Corbell of The Woodlands; and a brother, Blain Clark of Shelby County.

 

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces funeral service for 76-year old Minister Versie Lee Wilson of Center. He passed away last Friday night at Green Acres Nursing Center. Service will be at 2 Saturday at Triumph First Pentecostal Church in Shelbyville, with interment at St. John Cemetery in Tenaha. Among Minister Versie Lee Wilson’s survivors are two sons, Larry Thomas of Center, and Kenneth Thomas of Center; three daughters, Sharon Barkin of Center, Selvia Atkins of Joaquin and Adnora Johnson of Center; and a brother, Johnny Yarbrough of Houston.

 

Cason Monk-Metcalf  Funeral Directors of Nacogdoches announces a memorial service for 85-year old Thelma Joyce Tompkins, of Nacogdoches. She passed yesterday in Nacogdoches. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, at First Baptist Church Nacogdoches. A private graveside service will be held at Sunset Cemetery in Nacogdoches at a later time. Thelma Joyce Tompkins was a 1945 graduate of Timpson High School. Among her survivors are her husband, Homer; and daughters, Brenda Tompkins Fuller of Round Rock, and Patti Tompkins Goodrum of Nacogdoches; and a brother, Joe Hairgrove of Timpson. The family requests that memorial donations be offered to The Nacogdoches Treatment Center, or the Parkinson Disease Foundation.
