Details Released on Double-Fatality Accident in Panola County

We know more details of a three-vehicle accident that took the life of a Shelby County man, as well as a Houston-area man Monday night near Tenaha.

 

According to DPS Communications in Texarkana, 19-year old Jordan LeBlanc was southbound on U.S. Hwy. 59 at 9 p.m. when he was struck head-on by a 2003 Ford F-150 pick up driven by 63-year old Jackie Price of Spring.

 

he accident report says Price’s vehicle was northbound in the southbound lanes of traffic, when he hit LeBlanc head-on, causing the vehicle to spin around and t-bone a Toyota Camry, driven by Crystal McClendon of Bastrop, Louisiana.

 

Both LeBlanc and Price were pronounced dead at the scene. Ms. McClendon and a passenger, LaToya McClinton, were taken by ambulance to ETMC in Carthage for non life threating injuries. We were told by a family member, LeBlanc was headed home to Timpson from work in Carthage when the accident occurred.

 

He was a 2013 graduate of Center High School, and was a member of the Timpson Volunteer Fire Dept.

 

Funeral Service for Jordan LeBlanc will be at 11 Friday morning at Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
