At last Thursday’s DETCOG Board meeting in Crockett, executive director Walter Diggles said the DETCOG staff had picked up all the fiscal files from the FBI seized during last month’s simultaneous raid in Jasper of the DETCOG offices, Diggles’ home and the church he pastors. Diggles advised the board the agency has heard nothing new from the officials involved in the federal investigation, and said he has continuing confidence in the agency’s accountability, internal controls, its audits, and that DETCOG looked forward to the report from the investigation. Diggles thanked the board, staff and friends for their prayers and support the past month.
