Details remain sketchy this morning concerning a reported stabbing incident that took place Sunday afternoon on Center ISD property adjacent to Center High School. From what I’ve been able to piece together a fight broke out at the soccer practice field, just behind Roughrider Football Stadium after 3 p.m., which escalated into a physical confrontation, and eventually one of the individuals producing a weapon and stabbing another. The stabbing victim was life-flighted from the scene to an unknown hospital, and that individual’s name, age or condition is known to us this morning. Center Police tell me a detective spent most of last night interviewing witnesses. No other details are known at this time.
