Funeral notices 2/17/14

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces funeral service for 73-year old Billy Mack Walton of Center. He passed away Sunday in Shreveport. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 Tuesday at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Antioch Cemetery Shelby County. Billy Mack Walton is survived by wife, Lenora Jean Walton of Center; sons, Terry Walton of Center and Marty Walton of Weslaco; and a brother, Sam Walton of Stanley, Louisiana.

 

Watson & Sons announces pending service for 87-year old James W. Wheeler of the Aiken Community. He passed away Sunday at his residence. Among James W. Wheeler’s survivors is his wife, Charlsie Wheeler.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces funeral service for 82-year old Ray Nell Jones Bailey of Center. She passed away Friday at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Service will be at 2 today at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at White Rock Cemetery in Center. Among Ray Nell Jones Bailey are her husband, Ovias (Pete) Bailey; a son, Ovias Michael Bailey; and sisters, Patricia Webb, Linda Barbe and Jerry Sowell.

 

Watson and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of service Sunday for 56-year old Ricky Claude Jackson of Center. He passed away last Thursday at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Service was held Sunday at Watsono & Sons Chapel, with interment following at New Hope Cemetery in Center. Ricky Claude Jackson’s survivors include, daughters, Shellie Hayes and Kelsie Jackson, both of Center; mother, Virginia Alexander of Houston; and sister, Diane Gilcrease of Columbus. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with final expenses.

 

Garrison Funeral Home announces a graveside service for 90-year old Irvin Lee Throckmorton of Timpson. He passed away Feb. 8 in Nacogdoches. A private family visitation will be at 1 this afternoon at Garrison Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 1:45 Tuesday at Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Irvin Lee Throckmorton was a former City of Timpson municipal court judge.
