Amber Issued for Missing Three-Year Old

Authorities continue to search for a 3-year old child, abducted Friday night from a residence near Tenaha. A regional Amber Alert was issued Saturday morning as requested by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

 

The child, Ivan Alvarado, is described as 3 feet tall, approximately 20 pounds, with black hair and eyes.  Ivan, along with his 16 year old sister, Viviana, and her one year old daughter, Paola, were abducted from a residence at 1118 County Road 4248 near Tenaha.  Neighbors indicate that the three were last seen in a late-model black Cadillac Escalade.

 

Anyone with information concerning this case should contact the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office at 936-598-5600.

In an unrelated matter, an Endangered Missing Person Alert was cancelled Saturday afternoon when 15-year-old Cartarius Juanyai Jones, was located safely. The teen went missing Friday afternoon, and was last seen on County Road 3760.  The Shelby County Sheriff's office says Jones was safely located Saturday afternoon.
