Gorilla Barns Brings New Technology to East Texas Area

Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors joined owners, operators , and employees at Gorilla Barns in Timpson yesterday for the official ribbon-cutting of the new facility.

"Our goal is to provide Texas with a stronger, better built, longer lasting and more insulated affordable alternative to corrugated steel and wood buildings, portable or permanent," says John Allen, co-owner of the business.

"We offer small portable storage barns, offices, guard shacks, oil field buildings, garages, beauty shops, hobby shops , work sheds, etc.  For larger custom structures, we offer on-site construction to build whatever size you need.  Gorilla Barns also has the ability to upgrade any existing structure you may have with our Insulated Panel Technology, for example; chicken houses, garages, factories, auction houses, or simply a small carport you may have," he further added.

Allen says the business is highly environmentally-conscious.  "Therefore, our materials are derived from recycled material, and our construction methods are designed to use as little wood as possible.  We are currently developing new methods that will allow us to eliminate wood completely, leaving only steel and insulated panels."

Gorilla Barns is located on Highway 59 in Timpson and is open from 9-7 Monday through Friday and 9-5 on Saturday.
