The two individuals involved in last Thursday’s theft of cash from a Center business have been captured. Arrested Friday and charged with theft, were 28-year old Joshua Bearden, and 28-year old Kimberly Thompson, both of Center. No details are available on how the pair was captured, but they confessed, and still had the money in their possession that was taken from City Blend’s Smoothie Café and Tantalizing Tanning Salon. The incident occurred just after noon Dec. 27 when the two walked into the business, and while one distracted the store clerk, the other removed money from a cash register.
