The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Texas Rangers are conducting an in-custody death investigation at the request of the Nacogdoches County Sheriff Jason Bridges that occurred in the Nacogdoches County Jail on the morning of April 29. The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Andrew Haffert from Nacogdoches. This is an active and ongoing investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
