As of 9:30 AM, Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative is reporting less than 200 members without power in San Augustine County.  These members are in areas impacted by downed poles and lines due to tornado activity.  Crews are working to restore power as quickly and as safely as possible.

 

Above all, DETEC encourages everyone to keep safety a priority. Should you encounter a downed line, consider it live and dangerous.
