Earlier this morning at around 7:30 a.m. an 18 wheeler hauling chickens overturned between Shelbyville and Center just outside of Center, Texas on HWY 87 South, past Borders Poultry Supply.

 

There were no other vehicles involved, no injuries or fatalities were reported on the scene, aside from the chickens of which many were injured or killed.

The Center Police Department, Center Fire Department, Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Texas DPS, Allegiance Mobile health along with a wrecker service all responded. 

 

The cause of the wreck was not fully known. More to follow as is released by the Department of Public Safety.
