The local VFW Post 8904 and the Auxillary held a memorial on Feb. 28, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the Historical Shelby County Courthouse on the downtown Center city square. Although the weather was cold that did not deter them from gather to honor our veterans who served in Operation Desert Storm. Richard Lundie who served in Operation Desert Storm recounted his time serving.
