On Jan. 28, 2019 at 10 a.m. the Shelby County VFW Post 8904 and the auxiliary hosted a memorial ceremony in honor of those who served and died in Vietnam. The event had a decent turnout, as Texas Railroad Commissioner Wayne Christian attended today's ceremony.

The names of the Shelby County Vietnam veterans that died in service to our country were read and a memorial wreath was placed on the veterans memorial.

 

 

 

 

Taps was played and the ceremony came to a close. After the ceremony, the group had a photo taken by the local media and for VFW publication.
