Tenaha ISD new Superintendent

The Tenaha ISD will officially have a new superintendent after this afternoon's special called meeting of the board of trustees, as Scott Tyner will remove "interim" from his title and become the superintendent.  Tyner has been with the Tenaha ISD for 8 years, having served as athletic director and assistant principal, high school principal and most recently as interim superintendent.  Tyner has served as interim superintendent since the retirement of Don Fallin from that position. The Tenaha ISD made the decision to make Tyner the "lone finalist" for superintendent 21-days ago, which is state regulation.  That's a special called meeting of the Tenaha ISD School Board at 5:15 this afternoon.
