A Rooster Revel 2012 Reveal & Meet the Artist event was held Monday at the Center High School Agriculture Department. After meeting the artists, host businesses picked up their limited edition Rooster Revel 2012 metal art silhouettes to take back and display at their location until Monday, September 24. Then each silhouette will be displayed on a special float in the Doo Dah parade on Wednesday, September 26 at 4:30 p.m.  Immediately following the Doo Dah parade on Wednesday, September 26 and in conjunction with the Chicken Cooking Contest sponsored by Tyson Foods, an auction will be held for a select number of the Rooster Revel 2012 collection beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the east side of the downtown historic Center square.  The exclusive Rooster Revel 2012 metal art silhouettes designs were created and hand painted by the Center High School Agribusiness and Marketing students led by Shana Brittain. Each original metal art silhouette is signed by the student artist, numbered and dated. Buyers will be recorded in a history book establishing ownership and origin as well as receiving a Certificate of Authenticity.
