At the NAMMB (National Association of Military Marching Bands) contest in Nacogdoches Saturday at SFA, the Timpson Bear Band won the Bobby Goff Superior Performance Award, and First Place in Class 2A. 

 

Carlisle placed 2nd and Beckville placed 3rd. Timpson will now perform at the UIL State Marching Contest at 9 a.m. Tuesday in San Antonio ar the Alamodome. This will be a prelim performance.
