Dave Campbell’s high school state football rankings

There’s been a shake-up in Dave Campbell’s high school state football rankings after the Week 2 action. The Tenaha Tigers and Garrison Bulldogs have both dropped out after losing games last weekend. The San Augustine Wolves and Joaquin Rams have both moved up a position in the Class A, Division I rankings.  San Augustine is now ranked No. 6, while Joaquin is No. 7 in the state. West Sabine also moved up to No. 8. The top team in Class A, Div. I is Mason.  In Class A, Div. II, Munday is still No. 1.  Meanwhile, in Class 3A, Carthage has moved up to No. 3, and Navasota is the new No. 1 team.  Class 2A, Div. I’s No. 1 team remains Cameron-Yoe, while Tatum continues to hold onto the No. 2 spot.  In Class 2A, Div. II, Refugio is No. 1.  Class 4A’s new No. 1 team is Pearland Dawson; and Lake Travis is the top team in 5A.
