Gold Star Awards were presented to local 4-H members this past Sunday at the Tenaha ISD Cafeteria.  Olivia Worsham of Joaquin 4–H Club and Bobby Vandrovec of Shelbyville 4–H Club were named for the 4-H Gold Star Awards at the 2012 4-H Banquet.  Other awards were the “I Dare You” awards, given to Tory Davis and Konner Windham. Dr. Mark Jousan was awarded the 2012 Friend of 4-H.  Guest Speaker, Shelby County Game Warden Mike Hansen encouraged 4–H members to always give 100%, be positive role models in their communities, guard their reputations in their communities, exhibit leadership and to always thank the adults in their lives who help and support them in their endeavors.
