On October 24, 2018, the Tri-Parish Narcotics Task Force was notified of a female subject who was believed to be in possession of methamphetamine in a business in Logansport, LA.  

 

A deputy with the patrol division was able to respond to the location within minutes and detain the female, later identified as Angela M. Haessley (W/F – DOB: 06/11/1981) of Logansport.  The deputy recovered a substance suspected to be methamphetamine located on Haessleys’ person. 

 

Agents with the Tri-Parish Narcotics Task Force responded to assist with the case.  Haessley was transported to the Logansport substation, interviewed by deputies, and later confessed.  Agents also had obtained warrants during the course of a previous investigation for Haessley for 2 counts of Distribution of Schedule II (Methamphetamine). 

 

Following the interview, Haessley was transported to the DeSoto Parish Detention Center and booked on the charges of Possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine) and warrants for 2 counts of Distribution of Schedule II (Methamphetamine).
