High School football action Friday has the Center Roughriders at home to play Atlanta; Joaquin at Hemphill; Tenaha at Alto; it's homecoming in Shelbyville as the Dragons host Carlisle; Union Grove at Timpson; San Augustine at Deweyville; Garrison takes on Brook Hill in Bullard; Logansport at Red River; and Nacogdoches at Lufkin.

The Rider-Atlanta game can be heard on KDET, while the The Shelby County Game of the Week will be the Shelbyville-Carlisle matchup, which will air on Q-100, KQBB. Both games will also stream on cbc-radio.com.
