Shelby County Commissioners' Court Meeting Results

 

 

 
 
The Shelby County Commissioners Court met yesterday morning 8-29-18 at the active Shelby County Courthouse and took the following actions:
 
They approved and paid weekly expenses.
 
They continued the burn ban for Shelby County.
 
They table the motion to end or renew the contract with Computer Information Concepts.
 
They approved and adopted the Sheriff and Constable Fee for 2019 Fiscal Year to be effective on January 1st, 2019.
 
They adopted county holidays for 2019.
 
They discussed and approved the annual license for new software in the amount of $449.00 and a signature pad as required by the Texas Veterans Commission to benefit the Veterans Service Office.  This software will allow online filing of claims.  The software and signature pad will be purchased from the TVC's vendor, VestraSpec. 
 
They discussed and approved an air and heat unit for the sewing room at the AgriLife campus.
 
They approved the motion to advertise for sealed bids for Janitorial services for the 2018-2019 Fiscal year.
 
Pct. 1 discussed the transfer of a maintainer from Pct. 4 in exchange for 20 loads of oil sand.  It was approved.
 
They adopted the commissioners' Court dates for the fiscal year of 2018-2019 to be the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month.
 
Lastly, the court adjourned.
