Center Fire Department called out twice

The Center Fire Department was called out twice last night for similar calls involving fallen tree limbs.  The first emergency call sent fireman to the 100 block of Center Street where a large tree limb fell causing a power line to break loose from the residence and fall across the roadway.  The breaker box and meter loop exploded when the wire was pulled from the house. The area was secured with cones until electrical repairs could be made.  Along with downed electrical wires, Suddenlink cables were also ripped loose causing cable television outage in the area.  The second emergency call sent fireman to 1015 Florence Street where a limb had also fell down on power lines thereby causing damage to the meter loop at that residence.
