In Funeral Announcements

Judge Jack Pierce, 84, longtime district judge in the East Texas area, passed away on Thursday.  Visitation will be at the Nacogdoches County Courthouse on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., in the 145th District Courtroom.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Nacogdoches.  Services are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.

Lizzie Berry 83, of San Augustine passed away Friday at Hospice in the Pines in Lufkin.  Services are pending.

Willie James Grisby, 58, of Center passed away Saturday night at his home.  Services are pending.
