Yesterday 7-26-18 Jenny Hicks was suspended as Shelby County JP Pct. 4 and Jackie Kirkwood was appointed in her place as Shelby County JP Pct. 4 below is a statement that he issued:

I want to thank all that have offered prayers for my unspoken need. It has been a blessing and I feel them. Prayers are still needed and God has given an answer. Today, I was appointed to fulfill the duties as acting Justice of the Peace for JP4 of Shelby county. The current JP has been suspended and I assumed the duties today. I covet your prayers that I will perform the duties until either permanently appointed or elected. I also graciously ask for prayers for the suspended JP as my heart is broken for her and God's love is desperately needed.
