The high school football season kicks off this week, and the San Augustine Wolves play their opener Thursday night as they travel to Tyler to play Grace Community in a 7:30 start. Friday night's schedule has the Center Roughriders at home to play Buna, a game that will air on KDET; the Tenaha Tigers open defense of their state championship as they make the short drive to Joaquin to play the Rams in the Shelby County Game of the Week on Q-100 KQBB; the Shelbyville Dragons are home to tangle with Mount Enterprise; the Garrison Bulldogs are home against Hemphill; and the Logansport Tigers will host Mansfield.
