At 12:52 PM this date 7-12-18, a 9-1-1 call was received from the west swimming area at Lake Nacogdoches of a man submerged in the water, inside the swimming area.

 

Upon the arrival of emergency medical personnel, fire and law enforcement, citizens were bringing a man from the swimming area to the shore. Examination of the man showed no signs of life.

 

The investigation is continuing.

 

The identity of the man is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
