Planning is underway for the 36th East Texas Poultry Festival on October 4-6 on the downtown Center square with co-chairmen Jim Sawyer and Hollie Adams and the steering committee. Arts and Crafts vendor applications are being accepted at the Shelby County Chamber office according to Polly McKissick until Friday, August 31.
