Nacogdoches County Crash

 

 

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) investigated a one vehicle crash this afternoon on FM 226 about two miles south of SH 103.
 
The preliminary crash investigation indicates at about 4:30 p.m. on 6-11-18, a 2011 GMC pickup was traveling north on FM 226 when the truck drove off the roadway to the right and rolled over before striking a tree and catching fire.
 
The driver is identified as 22-year-old Chase Terrill, from Apple Springs, TX.  Terrill was transported to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital in Lufkin and later pronounced deceased. Three passengers traveling with Terrill were also transported to area hospitals for treatment.
 
This crash remains under investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
