Thirteen year old Pacey Rhodes is headed to the Junior High National Rodeo Finals in Huron, South Dakota to be held June 25 thru 30th. Pacey is the son of Robbie Rhodes and Heather Rhodes, and the grandson of J. T. and Jeanie Rhodes of Timpson.

 

 

 

 

Pacey competes in the Texas Region 5 Junior High Rodeo Association. His event is Chute Dogging. In the recent State Finals, Pacey placed first, with a time of 2.60 seconds in the first round on Tuesday, May 29. First, with a time of 1.98 seconds, in the second round on Thursday, May 31. The short go on Saturday, June 2, got him a third, with a time of 4.90 seconds. After all the points and times were calculated, he was 4th in the state. This earned him four beautiful belt buckles, and more importantly, a spot in the Junior High Rodeo National Finals!
