The Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual BBQ brisket plate fundraiser on Saturday, April 28th. BBQ plates, which include sliced beef, beans, potato salad, bread, and a soft drink, will be served beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the JVFD fire station. Cost per plate is $10. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the same day, there will be a cakewalk on Steve Hughes Drive in front of the station. Fire department members would like to invite everyone to come out and enjoy some good food, fun, and fellowship.
