The NWS has started to notice some consistency between different weather models (European & GFS) over the past several days that shows a potential heavy rain event during the middle to latter part of next week. It is still too early to speculate on rainfall totals during this upcoming event, but due to the conditions of the small streams, rivers, & and lakes the NWS felt that it would be prudent to provide an early first notice that we could see unusually high rainfall totals as we approach April.
