The William Carol Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas had a ceremony today 3-2-2018 in honor of Texas Independence Day.  They met at noon at the historic Shelby County courthouse square and read the entire Texas declaration of independence. Mr. Brian Smale the last living relative of William Carol Crawford was a special guest at today’s ceremony.  Below are some pictures from the event.
