Shortly before 4p.m. yesterday 2-27-18 a semi hauling fresh berries was traveling North on HWY 59 coming into Timpson. The driver stated that he realized that he was going over posted speed limit and tried to slow down. When he braked it caused his load to shift and he lost control and over turned. The truck slid on it's drivers side over 300 feet before coming to rest partially in the ditch. The Timpson Fire Dept. had to close and reroute north bound traffic. The driver only suffered minor scrapes. It was almost midnight before Hopkins Wrecker Service could get the truck out of the road way and ditch.
