On Friday, March 2, at 12:00 noon, the William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will celebrate Texas Independence Day and Texas Flag Day by sharing the Texas Declaration of Independence.  Weather permitting, we will be outside the Reba January James Heritage Library in the DRT building on the historic courthouse square in Center. In case of rain, we will move inside. The public is invited to hear the reading of the document that changed Texas history; the Texas Declaration of Independence. Come join us as we honor our Texas history.
