Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 22nd day of January, 2018 at 9:30 am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:

 

1.Approve and pay weekly expenses.

 

2.Discuss and possibly approve changing the two Regular meeting days for Commissioners’ Court from the 2nd and 4th Monday to the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

 

3.Discuss and possible approve an In-Kind Match Commitment with DETCOG and the Deep East Texas Economic Development District for office space within the Courthouse to assist DETCOG and the District in obtaining an EDA Grant to fund a Disaster Recovery Coordinator for the 12 County Region.

 

4.Approve an Interlocal Agreement between Shelby County and the City of Center regarding the purchase, placement, and utilities for a Communication Building to house radio equipment for Emergency Service Agencies located within Shelby County.

 

5.Record the filling of the Vehicle Inventory Tax Fund Audit for January 2018.

 

6.Discuss and possibly approve lighting for the County Extension parking lot.

 

7.Record the Racial Profiling Report for the Shelby County District Attorney’s office.

 

8.Adjourn.
