Many of you have written about your snow and how nice it was to see.... and

NOT... have to shovel or try to drive on it! That is true. I do remember

the bad that went with my years in West Texas and the snow back then.

Several of you have sent pictures of some really great landscape scenes.

 

It was widespread snow. Both of my daughters saw snow also. The one in

Houston had just a slight covering, or as someone who wrote, "just a

dusting".   My other daughter lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently

getting much more snow than we experienced around here.

*Right now in Palestine, they have 1 mile per hour winds from the NNW and

are in the mid 30's temperature wise. They have high cloud cover right now

and are expecting it to burn off and warm to a toasty mid 40's. The winds

are expected to increase to 8-10 mph by noon, but will die down to 1-2 mph

by game time with a temp in the mid to upper 30's.*
