Local Weather Update

Rain tomorrow maybe .01 of an inch as moisture is rapidly moving to North and East out of our area.

Expect first freezing temps in the Deep East Texas Region down to about IH20 Sunday morning. Frost and some isolated freezing near us in low lying areas.

Drought conditions increasing especially to our North and East. Burn Bans are being issued in many locations and Counties in North Texas.

Next Wednesday we may get 1 inch of rain, but not enough elsewhere to affect drought conditions. For us here in SA County, the 4 day total will be in the 1 1/2 inches and a little more to our South and East. still well below our mormal October rainfall amounts.

Tropical - These strong cold fronts are beginning to reduce Gulf water temps and drive the tropical development near Nicaragua more to Cuba, Florida, and the Eastern Atlantic basin. Still more than a month left in the 2017 Hurricane Season that ends November 30th.

90 day weather outlook: Warmer days and Less precipitation than normal. with all the clear skies the heat radiation into the atmosphere we could get more late night/early morning freezes to help reduce our bug population no real lengthy freezing temps til after the first of the year.
