- *Today* - Sunshine, 73 for a high after a cool 37 start this morning.
The wind will begin to blow from the North at 8-10 mph by noon and this
evening turn to South and bring Gulf moisture to the area.
- *Thursday* - After a 50 degree overnight low the Sun will bring us a
high of 83 degrees. The Southerly winds do continue funnel moisture in at
10-15 mph. All that causes our atmosphere to load up for a clash with the
next cold front.
- *Friday* - by 8am we should see a 50% chance for light rain and a wind
beginning to switch to the North and blow 10-15 mph by noon. no T-storms,
just light rain, and by evening our temps will drop significantly with
"feel like temps" 5-8 degrees cooler. Only 1/3 of an inch of rain total
estimated as of this morning. light wind overnight
- *Saturday* - *Sassafras Festival*....DRY...Rain is gone and we will
see Mostly sunny skies with some passing clouds. However, our daytime high
will only be 59 degrees. We begin the morning with a day in the low 30s and
a windchill as we see the North winds pick up around 10 am to 10-12 mph and
not diminish until the early evening hours.
- *Sunday* - Sunny, 64/41 with light winds of 5-8 mph
- *M-T * - sun & mid 70's highs and mid 50's lows. Southerly, moisture
building and light rain possible late Tuesday.
- *W-T-F* low 70's for a high. mid 50's for a low. Rain late Wed and
scattered T-storms next Thur and Fri are likely though not much in the way
of rain totals. maybe 1/10th unless you are under a storm...then only 1/4
to 1/2 inch.
