1. Call to order, establish quorum & welcome guest.
2. Invocation & Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Open Forum.
4. Council approval of the previous month’s minutes.
5. Monthly Reports:
a. City Secretary– Update- GLO procurement Grant funds.
b. Utility Billing Manager
• Report --Monthly receipts
c. Public Works Manager
• Update – Operator Qualification Training.
d. Water Department
• Update—Ongoing Water Projects.
6. Discussion & Council Action on Payment of Bills.
7. Discussion & Council Action on adoption of official paper of the City of Joaquin.
8. Discussion & Council Action on selection of nomination to Shelby County Appraisal District board of directors.
9. Discussion & Council Action on adoption of GLO-CDR Procurement policy.
10. Discussion & Council Action on consideration of possible rental of City owned building (Steve Hughes Drive)
11. Council will hold a closed Executive Session Meeting-Personnel Matters (551.074).
a. Public Works Employees- Personnel Review & Possible Merit Pay Adjustment.
12. Discussion and Council Action on Hiring of Temporary Part-Time Public Works Worker

The Joaquin Economic Development Corporation will meet in regular session Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the Joaquin City Office located at 124 N. Preston, Joaquin, Texas.

3. Board discussion & possible approval of 2018 marketing and promotional materials.
4. Board discussion & possible approval of increased allocation for road worker expense.
5. Board approval of bills paid and to be paid.
6. Review of financial standing of JED Corporation.

The Joaquin Public Safety Corporation will meet in regular session Tuesday, October 17, 2017
at 6:00 p.m. at the Joaquin City Office located at 124 N. Preston, Joaquin, Texas.
