Local Weather Update

It does look like the Tropical Storm "NATE" is going to hold the cold front at bay and bring us lots of clouds through Monday. The High pressure system will still reform over us by mid week, but we will likely not see the lows originally forecast due to NATE's fast movement and expected landfall as a Cat 1 Hurricane this weekend in the general area of Louisiana and Florida. The good news is the Cold front has lots of sheer aloft and steering currents at all levels of the atmosphere to keep NATE from developing and slowly dumping rain as it moves across the Eastern and Northern parts of the US. Very little chance for winds or rain more than the normal 6-8 MPH and spot your windshield type of rain if you did not wash your car.
