Joaquin ISD received information regarding an anonymous text message from an unknown number containing a potential threat to the school.  The authorities were contacted and an investigation is being conducted.  Upon initial investigation, it was determined there was no immediate danger to any of your children or Joaquin ISD staff.  The anonymous text was not intended for Joaquin ISD.  Authorities have contacted the out of state school where it was intended.  Thank you for everyone’s quick response and orderly conduct.  We will continue to monitor the situation and take necessary safety measures to keep our students and staff safe.
