An early morning fire caused major damage to the Patterson Funeral Home in North Shreveport. Community members are calling the family owned business a major cornerstone in the surrounding neighborhoods, and are considering this fire a major loss for the community.  Wednesday afternoon Patterson Funeral Home owner, Brandon Patterson was allowed to go inside what was left of the building to look for anything salvageable.   According to sources, Brandon Patterson plans on rebuilding the funeral home to honor both the community and his parent's legacy.  Fire officials are still investigating what may have led to this fire.
