Our Lows continue to be driven to the North by some strong High pressure

systems to our South over the Gulf and to our West driving all the rain

generators out of our area. This is allowing lots of humidity and Heat to

build. At 4:34pm, My weather station said it was 95.5 with a Temperature

Heat index of 113.4 with the humidity at 63%. we should have some wind to

stir the air along with some fairly decent cloud cover.

 

TOO Hot for man or beast! It's time to protect ourselves, our friends, our

relatives, our neighbors, our pets, our plants, and the elderly.

Especially the elderly whose bodies can not regulate with age.  There is a

great need for box fans to be given out to those in need of relief from the

heat.

 

Except for some possible Sea breeze generated showers during the afternoons

with this heat and humidity we will continue this pattern into the weekend.

and those will not generate as much moisture as the "Love Bugs".... unless

you are right under the T-storm/showers.

 

Our *UV* rays are in the EXTREME range so even with SPF protection you can

quickly get a sunburn.

 

Also, all the rain over the last 2 weeks or so has given our *pollen *a

restart on grasses and weeds to a high level.
