Project String Power

 

After 2017 Spring Recital, Maestro Leonard Kacenjar stands with violin students who played solos and group selections to share their progress in making music as students of Project String Power, Inc.
 
Project String Power, Inc. registration for violin, viola, cello, upright bass, harp, guitar (all styles), and banjo lessons is scheduled for Saturday, August 12, 10:30-12 noon at Naylor Hall of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 308 Cottage Road, Carthage, TX. Lesson times and help with choosing an instrument to learn can be done at that time.
 
Students who have accomplished the basic requirements to join Super Group String Orchestra, Silver Dew Bluegrass Band, Texas Made Rock and Country band, Forte Cello Ensemble and/or Pineywoods Harp Ensemble can join one or more of the performance groups.  
 
There is a $25 registration fee for each instrument studied.  Application for a scholarship for lessons may be made at the time of registration.  Registration forms may also be printed from the website www.projectstringpower.org and mailed to the address given. Project String Power, Inc.  is a non-profit music school that operates with the purpose of making lessons affordable for all. For further information, please call 903-263-0598.
