An investigation of a stolen vehicle turned into a high speed chase yesterday when Center Police Department investigators were on the scene of a recovered stolen vehicle.  The vehicle was a brown Ford pickup found parked with three men sitting inside the pickup.  While officers were trying to investigate the situation, the parked truck fled the scene down Greer Street at a high rate of speed, however  wrecked after failing to make the turn onto Riggs Street. Darryl Gray & Billy McCoy while the third man fled the scene.  Ben McCoy, son of Billy McCoy walked onto the scene and was suspected him of being under the influence.  After failing a field sobriety test, the younger McCoy was also taken into custody.  Charges are unknown at this time.
